Welcome Border Buddies Team 15

Tuesday brought Team 15 to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. We were disappointed that Larry and Lynn could not make it due to illness. I am sure that they were even more so, but we are trusting that the Lord will work everything together for their good and that they will feel better very soon!

Welcome Team 15!

After a little tour of the city, some good food and a refreshing night's rest we started working today on the cafeteria at Fuerzas Armadas.

Two years ago we started working on the Fuerzas Armadas school. It's amazing what the cooperative efforts of these Border Buddies teams have done. Their website tells the bigger story. We were part of the first team to begin working at this school and now we are helping this team who is wrapping up the work as the last crew to finish the school project. Future Border Buddies teams will begin working on another needy school in the city.

The reason we are here! The kids - we like to connect with them while we are here and the project itself has made more room for students at this school. The goal is to have the elementary students studying in the morning and in the afternoon a Junior High. The cafeteria will provide lunch for the students. We love to give and receive lots of hugs and smiles!
Soccer is always a favorite!

"You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you, that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give it to you." John 15: 16
